HISTORY
Guenther, Mills, Keating Architects was originally founded in 1988 as Guenther
Designs specializing in large scale residential design-build and small-scale
commercial retail centers and professional buildings. In 1991 Guenther Design
obtained its first major project, a new worship center for Word of Life Church in St. Joseph, MO. Since that time we have enjoyed steady growth with the addition of partner L. George Mills, Architect, in January 1995, experience in the public sector, and partner Edward M. Keating, Jr., Architect , in January 1997, making us uniquely multi-disciplinary with a large construction background and allowing us to offer HGK Construction Management services to our clients. Since then, both firms have grown to 16 full-time persons and 4 part-time interns. Our specialty projects are, but not limited to, Fire and EMS Facilities, Religious Buildings, Office Warehouse Facilities, Professional Offices, Health & Fitness Facilities, Retail Stores, Community Centers, Apartments, Townhouses, Condominium Developments and Club House Facilities .
